Quinta do Monte Xisto Oriente Red Wine 2019

Tasting note: 

Observing the more open colour we find that it departs a little from the more common characteristics associated with a Douro wine, due to its blend and winemaking method. It has a delicate, slightly tannic aroma counterbalanced with fresh notes of red fruit, such as cherry, and woods. In the mouth it shows a fine structure with an excellent balance between volume, fruit and acidity. The long, silky finish leaves the mouth fresh with spicy flavours.

A wine with a great capacity to adapt to different climates and gastronomies.

Quinta do Monte Xisto Oriente Red Wine 2019 is a wine from two small plots exposed to the East. Their exposure and grape varieties give rise to a fresh and light wine, less loaded in colour, with a lot of elegance and spicy notes. One of the plots is Tinto Cão and the other Tinta Francisca.

Serve at 16-18ºC of temperature.

Grapes: Tinto Cão (60%) and Tinta Francisca (40%).
